Child Policy

This is based on the rights and safeguard of the children. They must be protected and to create a safety and positive environment to them.

1.1 Definition

  • A child is defined as any person under the age of 18 years.
  • Child Abuse is defined as all forms of physical abuse, emotional ill treatment, sexual abuse and exploitation, neglect, commercial or other exploitation and includes any actions that results in actual or potential harm to a child.

1.2 Policies

  • Children should be secure from harm and exploitation irrespective of their age, gender, region, religion, race, caste or creed, disability and social background.
  • Our trust is committed to the rights and welfare of children and opposes all forms of child abuse especially sexual and exploitation.
  • Create awareness to the community pertaining to the care and protection of the children.
  • Work towards the elimination of child labour in the society.
  • Provide equal opportunities to the children for their progression.
