Dr. S. Radhakrishnan is a versatile polyglot prodigy having several faces in his life. Born in Devakottai on the 19 th Day of September 1963, he studied in the Nagarathar School and joined in the same School as a Teacher and had won the admiration of his fellow Teachers, Management and Students.
His father Shri. Subramaniam was a high School Head Master. Top Personalities like Kaviyarasu Kannadasan and Politician Mr. Madhavan have studied with his father. Later after joining the Teaching Profession he spent most of his earnings to Social Service.
During his youth days he had conducted several exhibitions on Leprosy, Literacy, unemployment, eye camps, medical camps and Adi Dravidar Welfare by adopting several Tribal Villages and provided basic communities to these slum dwellers. On the 20 th of March 1988 he was wedded to R. Panchavarnam who also had a flair for social service.
Radhakrishnan was highly in the good books of the then District Collector of Sivaganga District Thiru. Pazhamalai IAS., and his fellow Teacher Mr. Y. Arul Prakasam inspired him and motivated him to start a permanent service project to the orphaned differently abled community. Later in the year 1992 he throws away his Teaching Profession and had started a special school for the physically challenged which was Inaugurated by Mr. C.V. Shankar, the then District Collector of Coimbatore. In 1995 he founded the United Educaitonal & Social Welfare Trust, registered in the Office of the District Registrar, Coimbatore.
Apart from Social Service he is also a prolific Writer having published 102 Books to his credit thereby making an outstanding contribution to the Literary World. He is also a Journalist having freelanced Leading Magazines like Kalkandu, Kalki, Amutha Surabi, Bhagya and Thangam Weekly. He was also a regional reporter for Malaysia Nanban Tamil Daily published from Malaysia with accreditation from Government of Tamilnadu and he is also an active member in Press Club Coimbatore, Tamilnadu Working Journalists Association and South Indian Film Artists Association.
In the course of his Journey of 28 years Radhakrishnan had won several Awards for his Excellence and Achievements. Here are some of the few.

- Award for Gallantry from Dr. P.C. Alexander the then Governor of Tamilnadu
- National and State Awards from Central and State Governments
- Outstanding Personality Award from Management Studies Promotion Institute, New Delhi
- Award from Dr. J. Jayalalitha for Best Social Worker
- Award of Rs. 1 Lakh from MAM. Ramasamy Chettiar in memory of Rajasir Muthiah Chettiar on his Birthday Commemoration.
- Award from Mr. Aluwalia for Best Writer from United Writers Association
The endless Journey of Radhakrishnan’s Social Life received wide appreciations from Chief Ministers, Governors, Union Ministers, Prime Minister Honourable Modi, Senior IAS, IPS and IRS officials who applauded him for his Exemplary Social Work. He is a solid proof for the saying ‘a Social Worker is born and not made’
