National Youth Day was celebrated by the united trust in Coimbatore. At the event the president of the united trust Dr. Radhakrishnan spoke about Swami Vivekananda’s “எழுமின்,விழுமின் இலக்கை அடையும் வரை உழைமின் “ and Dr. Abdul Kalam’s ” கனவு காணுங்கள் ” and how today’s youth should achieve their favorite field. The event was decided by Muthu. A seminar was also conducted stressing the importance of moral behavior among the college students.

United Trust organize National Girl’s Day celebrations in government middle school in Coimbatore. Noted advocate A.P. Babu presided. He stressed on the importance of girl children who excel boys in all spheres like education, sports, cultural, etc. The headmistress spoke about the awareness of pregnant mothers not to do away with female child. Mr. S. Radhakrishnan the chairman of the trust and others participated.

As part of the wildlife day the trust had organized a camp in Coimbatore in a school. The ranger of forest Mr. Ashok ( Retd) spoke about the need to protect wildlife and caused to people not to disturb wild animals which will not do any harm to the people. The forest department will take care of the wild animals loitering in residential area. The residence of the locality attended the event.

The International Women’s Day was celebrated in Coimbatore. Dr. Prabhakaran ENT surgeon and Mr. Murali manager RJ mills inaugurated the event. Women from self help group participated. Food materials and cloths where distributed to tribal women of the area.

World water day was observed in Coimbatore. The executive officer Shrimathi Saraswathi inaugurated the celebration. An awareness event on water conservation rain water harvesting and other water resources awareness was conducted in the village and the people of the village participated with enthusiasm Dr. S. Radhakrishnan managing trusty of the trust and others participated.

World Forest Day was observed in Bannari and an awareness was held in the school premises to mark the day. The students were given awareness on the deforestation. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan managing trusty proposed the vote of thanks. 150 tree sapling was distributed by united social welfare trust to mark the occasion.

Health is very important to all the people. The International Health Day was celebrated in Coimbatore. The block development officer presided. The local panchayat president inaugurated. A health camp was organized by the trust with doctors from Coimbatore. Around 525 people of the village have been diagnosed and given free medicine by the trust. The trusties and field workers of the trust participated the camp.

World Labor Day was celebrated in Coimbatore and several migrant laborers of the area were given food materials. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan managing trusty of the trust distributed the materials.

Dengue awareness is very much necessary to the village folk as the killer disease affects people of the villages. The united social welfare trust observed world dengue day and apprises the people about the preventing measures to overcome dengue and they were told about the symptoms of dengue. Dr. Lakshmi medical officer participated as chief guest demonstration charge on dengue awareness was displayed and pamphlets distributed at Trust campus.

World Environment Day was observed in Coimbatore village and the people are given awareness about the need of protecting environment and were given 500 samplings for plantation and were create the awareness in pollution and the need to keep the village clean. Managing trusty conducted the event with the help of local population.

Food is very much vital for human life. We need to have control over food habits to lead a healthy life. To make the people aware of food safety a camp was organized by the united social welfare trust in Ganeshapuram. The food inspector inaugurated the camp. The people and the employees of various companies of the area attended the camp. Charts on food safety was displayed and several women of self help groups also attended the camp. World Nature Conservation Day was observed in Coimbatore by the trust. Awareness was given to the local people and the students who were stressed about the need of conservation of nature and that trees should not be cut and nature should not be spoiled because it is the trees which gives rain. Managing trusty of the trust and Headmaster participated the event.

International Literacy Day was observed in the slum areas of SS Kulam block. The event was held in the local primary school and the people of the village were given awareness of literacy and they were briefed about the importance of education. Basic study materials were distributed to the slum children of the area. Dr. S.Radhakrishnan managing trusty of the trust distributed the study materials

The World Elderly Day was celebrated in the premises of the united home for the elders. The elderly people of the home were provided bed sheets and towels by the managing trusty of the trust. Cultural programs of the elderly persons were also conducted.

The International Day of the Disabled was celebrated in the premises of the united orphanage for the disabled with usual color and fervor. KG College professor and students inaugurated the celebration. Mr. K. Periaiah IPS IG of police west zone presided and distributed the prizes to the physically and mentally challenged orphanage who participated in the cultural programs. Dr. S. Radhakrishanan managing trusty of the united social welfare trust, the other trusties and board members and the staffs participated the function. Indoor games for the differently abled were conducted in the premises.

This is a historic day of India because General K. M. Cariappa, the first Indian was took charge of Indian Army on 1949. To celebrate this day Mr. S. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the trust enlightened the youths about the importance and reputation of Indian Army through online in Coimbatore.

The United Social Welfare Trust organized “The National Voters Day” in Saravanampatti to generate awareness and importance of costing vote by the citizen’s. The programme was insisted 100 percent vote in the election because it is a birth right and duty of every citizen in the country.

The World NGO day was celebrated in United Social Welfare Trust campus to recognize, celebrate and honor all Corporate Partners, Donors, Individuals and Well-wishers for their immense support to the Trust to continue the tremendous work to the society.

The Trust was observed the International Women’s Day to integrate the women in the community. Women from trust and nearby by villages like S.S.Kulam, Kovilpalayam, Kurumbapalayam were participated and enjoyed their day through exposing their talents and finally on-behalf of trust the “Gift Box” were distributed to the participants.

The main focus of the organization to make sure the safety and health of their employees. As a part of this the Trust was confirm the three E’s of safety in the work place: Evaluation, Education and Enforcement. The conference was conducted to aware of this in the Trust Campus.

The United Social Welfare Trust dedicated to asthma control and educate people to join together to increase awareness about asthma and work towards the subject of “Enough Asthma Deaths”.
Moreover, the Covid-19 can be particularly troubling for those with asthma. So, this is a time to make alert about asthma to general public through online programme and help them to protect themselves.

The United Social Welfare Trust was organized the Tobacco awareness session to reach out the masses and improve the situation. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Trust was explained the danger of uses, precautions, preventable death and diseases it causes. The online programme was further intended to draw attention about the negative health effects which is currently 8 million death each year worldwide as per the report of World Health Organzation (WHO).

The World Oceans Day was celebrated in The United Social Welfare Trust to raise awareness pertaining to vital importance of Oceans and celebrate the largest water body of the planet. The program aims to educate people regarding the need to protect oceans as common people are also responsible for the deteriorating condition of water bodies.
